The Little Indian,
Utopia Food Court,
903 26 Umeå
The Little Indian located in the Utopia foodcourt was launched in September, 2017. Following our successful run at Umeå University, we decided to expand our horizons and make authentic Indian flavours available to a wider audience in Umeå.
At The Little Indian in Utopia, we combine traditional and modern Indian cuisine with the help of recipes that merge the old with the new.
Our large buffet offers a tiny peek into the immense diversity of the Indian cuisine. On our buffet menu (which varies everyday!) you will find the traditional Lamb seekh kebabs being served alongside the more modern Chilli Cabbage.
...and what would you like to try on the side?
The most popular naans or the wonderfully flavoured Aloo parathas, stuffed with mildly spiced potatoes? Or would you rather try the Malabar Parathas, boasting those soft flaky layers?!
We believe that every meal should be a feast and that is what we strive to offer every one of our guests, through our buffet. But don’t worry if you are not hungry enough for an entire feast!
Try one of our wraps!
The Chicken tikka wrap, the peppar beef wrap or maybe a vegetarian/vegan option with the most amazing fried cauliflower.
Did you know that we are the first restaurant in Northern Sweden, to introduce the famous Masala Dosa, an integral part of South-indian cuisine?
This spectacular vegetarian meal consists of crispy thin rice-lentil crepes made with a fermented batter and served alongside sambhar (south-indian lentil stew), chutney and a stuffing of potatoes.
